For the second time this week, we had eastern phoebes around the main building.
Woodcock walk:
-5 woodcock calling, fantastic look at one 30 feet away doing courtship flights
-Coyotes calling in the distance
-One winnie from a barred owl
-Kingfisher
-2 beavers
-Found bear den
Seems like alot of nature already coming out this spring down in pennsilvania! I am sure you will soon be having lots of bears around the PEEC campus! I know in Sandwich NH the bears are waking up and roaming around. I will be interested to hear about when you start to see the broad wing migration
